One involved opposition to plans by CBS to produce a reality show, "The Real Beverly Hillbillies." The other involved opposition to a plan to exempt all but the largest banks from Community Reinvestment Act obligations. "And the press has a critical role to play." Not as advocates, but to cover rural issues better.
