"An international student's success in our universities is often hampered by language inadequacies, cultural and religious differences, dietary restrictions, extended family separations, and non-familiarity with the U.S. university system." Calls for universities to offer the most important things U.S. universities have to offer: methods of systematic inquiry, organizational skills, administration; prioritization of values and effort; and ability to conceptualize what's important.
