Contains refereed and non-refereed papers, together with major conference presentations, made over several decades, dealing with matters such as communication and extension processes, organization, communication channels and target audience reception.
Reports results of a national survey among experiment station editors about their present information organization and their suggestions about how they would like their present setup changed for more efficient operation. Seventy-eight percent cast their vote for a coordinated setup (involving agricultural research, extension and possibly resident instruction). Fifty-four percent of respondents operated currently in a coordinated setup and like it; 24 percent operated in a decentralized arrangement but wanted to change.

This $15.2 million project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, was a collaborative effort with the Northwest Frontier Province Agricultural University. Agricultural communications faculty and staff members were involved in several initiatives, including development of courses and curricula, a learning resources center, and a continuing education center.
