Roy concedes that some extension people might call this "propaganda." However, he adds, "we find in Arkansas that the general public becomes interested in Extension work when the story of its activities, programs and results is effectively told."

He recommends emphasizing the home demonstration field, profitability of established agricultural industries, development of new agricultural industries, profitable disposal of surplus products of the garden and farm, increased savings in the farm and home, and better use of materials in the home.
