Evans Collection, Bangkok, Thailand : United Nations Development Programme, Development Support Communication Service, 1972. 125 p., This report is designed to formulate a communication plan for the project: Training for Health Personnel in the National Family Planning Programme of Thailand, on the basis of a systematic appraisal of the communication needs of this project. In order to achieve this objective, appraisal missions to various training sites were undertaken by DSCS staff and Thai Government Officials from the National Family Planning Programme. The past training and its communication needs were investigated. In addition, the proposed family planning training and its anticipated communication needs were investigated in relation to the past training to record what discrepancies were revealed and what past experiences might apply in the future. The factors to be examined under the term training include: objectives, curriculum, trainers, trainees, presentation methodology, environment, equipment, materials, feedback, administration, and outside influences.
