The main reason is due to the existence of white spots. The lack of communication between breeders does not allow the dissemination of vital information such as water points location, bush fires geographic location, epidemic area, and available pastureland. However, in undeserved areas, satellite communications are very expensive for rural population. Therefore, we propose a low-cost communication based on LoRa transmission that enables different services like short message text, voice messages, status of a water points, geographic location. The deployed architecture is a delay tolerant ad-hoc network that can cover a large area with a mesh system.
Studies of the demography of disability in rural America show that non-metropolitan areas have the highest percentage of people with disabilities, including people with severe disabilities. What are the barriers to dissemination of information to rural people with disabilities? This brief article outlines several barriers, including rural isolation, which can create communication barriers when the sources of information are people perceived as "outsiders."

The project's purpose is to build an effective model of service delivery to minority farmers who have traditionally been underserved. The study involves farmers from the Lower Mississippi Delta states of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
