James F. Evans Collection, This study deals with the hypothesis that communication media of the West are comparatively more influential in exporting cultural imperialism to the socio-cultural disadvantage of developing countries. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the powerful media of the West, particularly of the USA vis-a-vis other dominant factors which are considered effective tools of cultural exportation from the haves to the have-nots.
